Development activists, intellectuals, economists and academics have expressed their different views and theories about how development should be carried out in Africa and around the world. This book explores the problems and possible solutions facing Africa today. Many challenges lie ahead but there is a way forward. We are where we are because of where we are coming from, and this book is a timely reminder that the future we desire, which is achievable, is as much shaped by our dreams as it is by our reflections."
